Josiah, Elise, and their four kids—Isabel, Jack, Sofia, and David—have been planting roots in Howell since 2023 while he completes his residency at the University of Michigan to be a Child Neurologist.
Having received a classical education growing up, both he and his wife are excited to help lay the foundations of a Christ-honoring, heart-shaping, mind-building school for their children, Livingston County, and beyond. "To whom much is given, much is required." (Luke 12:48)

Aden was raised in Brighton and graduated from Brighton High School in 2014. Having developed a passion for Math and Science, he attended the University of Toledo where he received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. There, he found competition in club sports such as tennis and table tennis, and relaxed by playing music with his friends. In class, he met his future wife, Kate – also a degreed Chemical Engineer.
A lifelong resident of Livingston County, Aden is passionate about creating a school where students, including his own children, are inspired to love the Lord by exploring His creation, history, and character. He envisions a hometown school that facilitates joy in learning through mastery of the sciences and arts. Aden now works as a salesman and designer of Industrial HVAC systems for Radiant Energy Systems in Wixom. Aden also serves as a Deacon at Christ Church of Livingston County in Howell.
Aden and Kate live in Howell with their two boys, Theodore (3), and Callahan (2). They are expecting their third child, another boy, in December. With these arrows in his quiver (Psalm 127:4-5), Aden notes the responsibility of raising and educating his boys to be bold in faith, ready to tackle the spiritual battles of our day as men of the Word.
